June 2023: Final report will be delivered to Mayor Brodeur and City Council. This recommendation will include at least two viable options, costs, phasing, and timeline for the City and public to consider with the committee's assessment of pros and cons for each plan.

Pre-design Work (January 2023 — March 2023)

March 2023: Completion of pre-design services with Dore & Whittier, and committee continues formulating our recommendation.
 

January 2023: Kick-off of pre-design services by D+W, including space programming, conceptual design, and detailed design for costing.

Information Gathering Stage (December 2021 - December 2022)
 

Winter 2022: Reviewed previous work and understanding the current state

 

October 2022:  Received Approval of funds by Appropriation Committee 

 

August 2022: Received proposal for pre-design services by D+W 

 

July 2022: Developed of conceptual options and request for pre-design services 
 

Spring 2022: Formed subcommittees for Proposal Development, Public Engagement, Funding Paths, and Liaising with the City
